Travel that celebrates every facet of you.
A trip is a curatorial act.
I started Curio Travel because I was tired of seeing queer travelers treated as an afterthought — or worse, a "special interest group" to be tolerated. You deserve a travel advisor who understands that your leather harness might need its own packing strategy, that "plus one" doesn’t always mean what forms assume it means, and that the best trips happen when you don’t have to edit yourself.
Based in Seattle, serving travelers everywhere. Every Curio journey is built 1:1 around a specific cultural moment or experience — Bear Week in Sitges, ABGT600 colliding with Día de los Muertos in Mexico City, the spring quiet of an Atami ryokan. I bring you in already knowing the kitchen, the back room, the host.
What we build in, so we don’t have to remember.
- 01 · INCLUSIVITY
LGBTQ+ visibility, by default.
Gender-neutral language across every surface. "Partner," not "husband or wife." Photography that reflects our actual rooms.
- 02 · 1:1
Every journey is custom.
No group buses, no seat-based packages. Your dates, your pace, your priorities — designed around how you actually travel.
- 03 · ACCESS
The rooms behind the rooms.
Reservations you couldn’t get yourself. Workshops, kitchens, hosts, and venues you can’t book online. The reason for Curio.
- 04 · SAFETY
Out, or discreet — your call.
Destination-specific research on attitudes and laws. Whether you want to be fully out or prefer to keep things discreet, I’ll tailor recommendations so you travel authentically and confidently.
